Yakiniku Shibaura is our favorite family-friendly yakiniku restaurant in Setagaya-ku. They serve delicious cuts of Japanese domestic Wagyu Beef. Our kids love it.
As you walk into the restaurant you see a refrigerator stocked with slabs of Japanese domestic Wagyu beef. Yakiniku Shibaura carefully selects their Wagyu beef from different areas of Japan, and list each prefecture from which they select their cows with details of each on their website. If you`re 
wondering which cut of beef you`re getting you can refer to the black silhouetted image of cattle on the board.
The meat is beautifully marbled and tender enough that our 3 year old has no problems chewing it. The menu offers a large selection of beef, a few sides and drinks.
The staff is friendly and the restaurant, located on the 2nd floor, is spacious and offers tatami, table and private room seating. A great dinner spot after a day at Setagaya Play Park, where kids build fires, saw wood and take risks. Restaurant reservations recommended
