Via Brianza, Azabu Juban – Great Date Night Spot

If you are looking for a romantic date night restaurant with amazing Italian food, you must try Via Brianza in Azabu Juban. The restaurant is one of my husband’s and my favourite hideaways. The chef and owner Okuno-san studied in Italy to perfect his skills and now owns a few Brianza establishments (Ark Hills, and a pizzeria in Juban and La Brianza in Roppongi). However, this is the Via Brianza Restaurant that Okuno-san cooks at daily.  It is located near the slide park in Azabu Juban.

Via Brianza is quite small with only eight or so tables for 2-4 people. The service is Via Brianzaamazing with an in-house sommelier, and the chef greeting all guests. Dinner will run about 7,500 -13,000 yen per person depending on drinks, and lunch has a wide selection from 1,500 – 5,000 yen. Both course and a la carte menus are available.Via Brianza

Okuno-san changes the menu seasonality only offering the freshest ingredients. The other night we had a wonderful La Brianza autumn course menu that included oysters, saba fish over muscles, a tasting of foie gras, perfectly cooked Kobe beef, handcrafted cheese over sweet red tomatoes, and gratin with truffles. Of course there is a wide selection of pastas, risotto and gnocchi on the menu as well.

You will not let your date down by eating at La Brianza Restaurant in Azabu Juban. Have a great experience!
