Umekoji Collabo, Kyoto – Family-Friendly Organic Restaurant

Umekoji CollaboUmekoji Collabo organic restaurant focuses on fresh vegetables purchased every morning from contract farmers in the northern area of Kyoto. This family-friendly restaurant is non-smoking, has Japanese reading books and toys for little ones and is the perfect spot to grab a meal after a day at Umekoji Park, the Kyoto Railway Museum or the Kyoto Aquarium. Umekoji Collabo serves delicious and hearty organic food with loads of vegetables amping up kids` intake of vitamins great for cold winter days. We ordered the Simple Kyoto Salad which comprises of the freshest Kyoto vegetables picked that morning (720 JPY), Gorogoro Vegetable Beef Stew (1500 JPY) and a Child Pasta set that comes with spaghetti with meat sauce, salad, veggies, fries and drink (500 JPY). They also serve a kids` hamburg plate with rice, veggies, Umekoji Collabofries and juice (780 JPY).

Umekoji Collabo serves a number of Mains with Pasta, Risotto and Rice, and a number of meat and poultry dishes – meat and poultry purchased from cruelty free farms. They also offers course menus, menu for parties and offer take-away.
