Top Tokyo Christmas Markets 2018

Christmas is a month away, but some Christmas markets are already in full swing! Get into the holiday spirit and stop in one of the Best Tokyo Christmas markets! Bundle up and shop for food and gifts under the illumination. Happy Holidays!

1. Roppongi Hills Christmas Market – If you would like to get in the spirit with some friends by having a beer and some sausage than this is the market for you. I would not recommend for kids because it is very crowded and hard to see anything. However, if you are out and about, adults only, it will increase your spirit!  Lots of beautiful but expensive Christmas ornaments, and outside seating with heaters. Enjoy!

2. Yebisu Garden Place Marche de Noël Festival (Ebisu)
Enjoy the European-style Christmas market under the thousands of Garden Place LED Illuminations and famous Baccarat chandelier. A great spot to pick up last minute Holiday decorations and gifts and enjoy the array of continental cuisine.

3. Solamachi Christmas Market 2018 (Sky Tree)

Enjoy the 6th annual Tokyo Sky Tree Town Christmas market held on the 4th floor Sky Arena of Soramachi. This is a German-inspired market will be lit with festive LED lights, as well as decorations, beer, wine, sausage, ornaments, sweets and more.

4. Tokyo Christmas Market 2018 (Hibiya Park)

Enjoy the huge Christmas market at Hibiya Park. This is a European-inspired traditional festival that follows from the Middle Ages. They will have plentiful food and drinks such as grüw wine and sweets, direct import and sales of ornaments in the Elts region of Germany, as well as live performances and workshops.

5. World Christmas Festival (Yoyogi Park) – Celebrate Christmas with international food, drinks, music and dance. While you`re there combine your visit and meet ponies, visit the Bike Park in Yoyogi Park or play in the Mud Park. Have fun!

Not Tokyo but a great event to attend in Yokohama –

Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse Christmas Market is being held until Dec 25th and is a great place to visit for shopping, eating and sightseeing. The Christmas Market is very popular due to its GermanHuette style. The entire complex is highly decorated ornaments and dolls from the Erzgebirge region of Germany. Also, while in Yokohama visit the CupNoodles MuseumAnpanman Museum or the Overseas Migration Museum.
