1) Legoland Discovery Center, Odaiba
LEGOLAND Discovery Center is the perfect spot to celebrate your little ones birthday. Located in Odaiba they offer a wealth of attractions; a miniature model of the Tokyo’s cityscape made from nearly 1.5 million bricks; a Lego-themed laser shooting ride; a Fire Academy & Construction Site with crawl spaces, slides and large, soft lego bricks to build with; an elevating Lego ride similar to one you would find in a theme park; lego building classes; a 4D cinema and karaoke.
Legoland provides two party plans that gives your party access and use of their entire facility, a private party room, a Lego birthday cake display, drink and pastry. Decorations and a special lego class are available for an additional fee. Party courses begin from 2200 yen or 2700 yen per child (depends on the day and size of the party) and adults 1800 yen per person regardless of the day. Kiwi Kitchen Gourmet Cafe & Catering is one of those places in Tokyo that you just trust and rely. Not only do they offer healthy home recipes in their cute indoor/outdoor cafe, they also have a great play space for babies and toddlers, takeout, catering and a party rental room. The fact that most of the staff is also completely bi-lingual makes it stress-free.
The cafe is located on the 1st floor and on the 3rd floor of the same building there is a rental room which can comfortably hold about 20 adults. The third floor also has a safe and fun play area for babies to toddlers so you can socialise while your little one has fun!
Kiwi Kitchen also offers catering for home, school or corporate events.

3) Kinder Base, Jiyugaoka
Kinder Base（キンダーベース）is a great birthday party venue for babies and kids up to early elementary. We revisted the venue for my son`s 5th birthday. Everyone loved it!
Kinder Base is covered with foam padding that keeps safety in mind. They`re equipped with a large jumping castle and slide, a mini ball pit with slide, rody horses, a doll house, train table, Japanese drum, books, baby swing and baby rockers, drink vending machine and restrooms for boys and girls. A piano is available for rental as well.
Kinder Base makes planning a party simple. Look to see if their space is available for rental on their calendar, fill out their online form, select from one of their two party catering plans OR bring in your own food, sit back, relax and let the kids have fun!
This space is also rented out for yoga classes (they will remove the air jumping castle so students can use the mirror), social gatherings and holiday parties.
They provide a 3 hour rental pack; 10:00 – 13:00 for 27,000 yen; 14:00 – 17:00 for 27,000 yen; 18:00 – 21:00 for 22,000 yen. You can request a 30 min extension prior to the reservation day for 5000 yen. It`s 6000 yen per 30 min extension on the day of your party.

4) Gymboree, Yakumo
We celebrated our son`s first birthday at Gymboree in Jiyugaoka. Everyone loved it! The little ones loved playing on all the colorful equipment and participated in the play activities, and there was plenty of space to accomodate our large party.
Parties at Gymboree “are targeted at children between the ages of 1 year and 4 years old. The standard party package is 1 hours and 30 minutes and includes free play, fun teacher-led activities and refreshment time”. Birthday packages are open to members and non-members, and are held on Saturday or Sunday. Renting the space will put back a non-member 55,000 yen. Food and drink are not provided. However, you can bring in your own.
