Guam is a small island in Micronesia in the Western Pacific with breath-taking sceneries, exotic beaches, numerous activities and duty-free shopping. A short 3.5 hour flight from Tokyo Narita Airport Guam makes an ideal 3-day weekend trip with the family. Here are our Top Things to do in Guam with Kids.
1. Add excitement to your beach vacation by combining it with a Waterpark:
– Onward Beach Resort: “One of the biggest water park in Micronesia. People of all ages can enjoy the Water Paradise featuring 4 thrilling water slides, an exciting wave pool and a lazy river pool as well as awesome slides “Manta” etc..” – Onward Beach Resort
– Guam Plaza Waterpark – Tarza Waterpark: “TARZA is Guam’s most thrilling water theme park with 9 fun water attractions. We have the only Flowrider and the longest and steepest Super Slide on Guam. As a beginner on the Flowrider it’s not quite as easy as it looks but it’s so much fun that you’ll want to keep riding until you’re able to master riding the currents. Or, if you just want to relax and enjoy the sun you can sit in a floating ring and let the current carry you around the Lazy River.” – Tarza Waterpark
– Pacific Island Club (PIC): “Swimming Pools, 2 Water Slides, Kayak Lagoon, Swim-through Aquarium and more” – PIC
2. Ride a ZipLine: Get a thrill by riding over pools, trees or the sea on a zip line at one of these locations.
– Onward Beach Resort: Enjoy Ziplining over their wave pool in the seated or superman position. Must be at least 4ft tall to ride.
– Hilton Guam Resort & Spa: Zipline with Zip Guam: “ZipGuam is the height of adventure. Fly through the trees like a bird! Glide so close to the ocean you can smell the salt water in the air.” Ages 6 and up.

3. Explore the island by visiting the Inarajan Natural Pools: Not quite a beach, not quite a pool, Inarajan Pools is one of the most beautiful and unique natural features on Southern Guam. Saltwater continuous. Sly washes from the ocean through a series of naturally formed pools. The landscape is breathtaking while the pools are relaxing. Small children will like splashing around the shallowest pools at low tide, while older kids will love the thrill of jumping off the old lifeguard tower. Bring a picnic and enjoy a day in the sun at this special place. Please come with a plan for your family’s trash disposal as there are limited waste receptacles on site.
4. Visit the Pacific War Museum: The museum houses a private collection of World War II-era items and vehicles as well as old memorabilia, photos, weapons, and artifacts. Kids can sit on military vehicles and learn about Guam`s role in WWII. Two separate exhibits, Japanese and American. Admission: $3 donation.

5. Fish Eye Marine Park: An underwater observatory where you can see coral marine life 30ft under the sea. Everyone will love seeing breathtaking views of the Piti Bay Marine Preserve and views of fish swimming in the crystal clear water while walking on the pier leading toward the observatory. Tip: visit the observatory before closing time to view the sunset. If you can`t make it to the Fish Eye Marine Park, Underwater World Aquarium is small but good.
6. Shopping: Guam carries everything from High-end shops at the Plaza Shopping Center and DFS Galleria (Duty-Free Shops) to Discount stores at the Guam Premier Outlets and Kmart. Enjoy tax-free shopping while stocking up on US goods. Micronesia Mall is also a local favorite.
