🌸Koishikawa Korakuen Plum Blossom FestivalTop 10 Things to do in Tokyo in March 2017 (Bunkyo-ku) – Until March 4 you can visit the park to see over 90 plum blossom trees in 30 varieties blossoming.
Admission: 300 yen adults, free for children

🌸Setagaya Ume Plum Festival (Setagaya)🌸 – Until March 4 you can see a huge display of plum blossoms on 650 plum trees (270 red plum and 280 white plum). You can enjoy various activities this weekend including a Japanese performances and matcha tea ceremony. While you`re there visit Hanegi Park for three super fun experiences in one. Fun for the entire family!

2. Heiwajima Antique Show (Ota-ku) – A huge three-day inside antique fair.  Not to be missed. There are over 280 vendors that have a huge selection of Japanese, Asian and Western antiques. This show only happens a few times a year, and the good stuff sells quickly.

3. Meguro Gajoen Hina Doll Exhibit  (Meguro) – Until March 11th, 2018 –  Meguro Gajoen’s 9th celebration of Hinamatsuri dolls is absolutely beautiful. Not only will the dolls impress you, but the rooms they are displayed in are very ornate. They have welcomed over 470,00 visitors since their first celebration 8 years ago.  My daughter and I visited the other day and had an beautiful time viewing dolls in a historical building. This year’s exhibit Meguro Gajoen Hinamatsuri, Tokyo Weekend Activitiespresents an “Omi, Mino, and Hida hina doll travelogue” with dolls from Gifu and Shiga Prefectures. 4. The annual Tokyo Union Church Flea Market is scheduled for Thursday, March 8 – Saturday, March 10, 2018. If you are looking for English books, kids toys, clothes and home goods, this is the place to shop. I recommend you go as early as possible since people line up for this great flea market. Enjoy the OutdoorsIce skate in the Open Air or Enjoy Tokyo`s Playground Parks. Enjoy the seasonal outdoor rinks at the Futakotamagawa Rise Skate Garden or Tokyo Midtown until March 4th or the Tokyo Sky Tree Skate Park until March 11th. 6. Peace On Earth 2018 (Hibiya Park, Hibiya) – This free family-friendly music, food and beverage event is to commemorate the victims of the Great East Japan Earthquake that occurred on March 11, 2011. There will be two full days of music, live events and many many food trucks.

Top 10 Things to do in Tokyo in March 20177. Visit the I Love Ireland Festival (Yoyogi) and The Tokyo St. Patrick`s Day Parade (Omotesando) – Japan’s largets St. Patrick`s Day Parade will be held on Sunday, March 18th from 13:00 -15:00 in Omotesando. Every year you can watch and participate in the parade. It is organized by the Irish Network Japan (INJ). Don on your green then venture out and celebrate. Before or after the Tokyo St. Patrick’s Day Parade on Sunday, check out the I Love Ireland Festival in Yoyogi Park.  This two-day event is free and a real kid pleaser. I personally believe it`s one of the best Tokyo Family Activities this Spring; an awesome day of fun, food and festivities.
