We have gathered some of the top Tokyo International Schools’ Calendars for Fall 2021 (Aug to Dec 2021) in an attempt to help simplify planning. We often hear from other parents and organizers of community events that all the international schools’ schedules being different causes may headaches. Hoping readers find this helpful. Typically Japanese schools have three semesters with breaks in-between. The school year begins around April 6th and runs until about July 21st; 2nd semester runs from about August 31st – December 26th, and 3rd semester from January 7th – March 26th. If you have kids in both International and Japanese schools the biggest challenge is usually summer vacation since most international schools are out for at least ten weeks and Japanese school five weeks.
