June 17 & 18, 2017 Tokyo Weekend Family Events and ActivitiesMeiji Jingu Irises in the Inner Garden – June is a wonderful month to enjoy Tokyo Iries in full blooms. Check out the beautiful garden at Meiji Jingu near Harajuku station. There are about 150 different types of Iris in the “Iris Garden”. Their blossoms are counted daily by the staff. Current count 1500 Iris plants. It does crowded so I recommend going early. If you want to see Irises and also escape into a nature sanctuary you can also visit the Shirogane Nature Park which is also in full bloom. Enjoy!
