Luckily for us, there is an increasing number of skilled pediatricians in Tokyo to choose.  Below is a list of seven Tokyo based English speaking pediatricians that my friends and I have used over the past 14 years.

Choosing a doctor is a personal decision based on many decision factors. This list below should guide you in the right direction, but the final decision on which doctor you use is yours alone.

There are many English speaking pediatricians in large hospitals, but usually you need Japanese language to reach that doctor, so I have focused mainly on smaller clinics.

Background: Graduated from Fukushima Medical university, Resident at Tokyo Women’s Medical University Pediatrics

  1. I would not recommend #2 Flow East Clinic. The nurses cannot speak any English and are not friendly. The doctor has no patience for kids. When my child would not open his mouth, she practically used force to pull his mouth open. They would not give me a minute to talk to him
