Christmas is a week away, and the markets are in full swing! Get into the holiday spirit and stop in one of the Best Tokyo Christmas markets. Bundle up and shop for food and gifts under the illumination. Happy Holidays!

1. Tokyo Christmas Market 2016 (Hibiya Park)

December 17 & 18, 2016 Tokyo Weekend Family ActivitiesEnjoy the huge Christmas market at Hibiya Park. This is a European-inspired traditional festival that follows from the Middle Ages. They will have a 14 m high Christmas pyramid, plentiful food and drinks such as grüw wine and sweets, direct import and sales of ornaments in the Elts region of Germany, as well as live performances and workshops.
Event Date & Time: December 16th – 25th; 11:00-22:00 (last order 21:30). Closed if rain.

2. Roppongi Hills Christmas Market – If you would like to get in the spirit with some friends by having a beer and some sausage than this is the market for you. I would not recommend for kids because it is very crowded and hard to see anything. However, if you are out and about, adults only, it will increase your spirit!  Lots of beautiful but expensive Christmas ornaments, and outside seating with heaters. December 17 & 18, 2016 Tokyo Weekend Family Activities3. Yebisu Garden Place Marche de Noël Festival (Ebisu)
Enjoy the European-style Christmas market under the thousands of Garden Place LED Illuminations and famous Baccarat chandelier. A great spot to pick up last minute Holiday decorations and gifts and enjoy the array of continental cuisine.

4. The Farmers Market at the UN University (Omotesando)  This weekend the Aoyama farmer`s market gets into the holiday mood. They will feature holiday pastries, handicrafts, cakes and more. It is a great place to visit as mikan, yuzu, daikon, renkon, strawberries and other bounty are in season and oh so, so yummy. Pick up some holiday gifts and snacks as well as seasonal produce this weekend.

Not Tokyo but a great event to attend in Yokohama – 5. Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse Christmas Market is being held until Dec 25th and isimg_01 a great place to visit for shopping, eating and sightseeing. The Christmas Market is very popular due to its GermanHuette style. The entire complex is highly decorated ornaments and dolls from the Erzgebirge region of Germany.
