Tiger Gyoza in Hiroo is an inexpensive but yummy restaurant to have a quick lunch or dinner. The speciality is gyoza (dumplings/pot stickers) both fried and boiled. Tiger Gyoza is a chain with locations in Shibuya, Akasaka and many other locals around Tokyo, but we frequent the one in Hiroo. Have a play date at the Azabu Community Center, or wonder through Arisagawa Park and then head over for a late lunch or early dinner.

0 or just before last order at 2:30. The most popular dish at lunch is the dumpling set menu which includes a full plate of gyoza, soup, pickles and rice for under 1,000 yen. Make sure to get the gyoza sauce on the side since it may be too spicy for some kids.
For dinner Tiger Gyoza is great spot since the restaurant is open until 23:00 (last order 22:00). Our family’s favourite for dinner items include the whole chicken, which is juicy inside but so crispy outside, and the stir-fired green veggies.
The service is very quick, menu is bilingual (English and Japanese) and tea served hot and in abundance. A great place to have on your family’s list of trusted yum!
