Thai and Vietnamese Cooking Classes (Tokyo, Minami Azabu) – Jan – Apr 2018

Best Living Japan is excited to tie-up with Ms. Jeannine Law-Smith, Thai and Vietnamese Cooking Teacher for the first season of Thai and Vietnamese Cooking Classes.  Five weeks of classes will be offered from January – April 2018; Wednesday mornings from 9:30 – 12:30.  To sign-up, please choose 3 or 5 classes to attend. Menus for each week’s lesson are below.

Loved worldwide, Thai and Vietnamese cuisine continue to be popular in Tokyo.  From your first bite to the last, Southeast Asian cuisine is fresh, flavorful, and full of herbs, vegetables, and fruit.  Join us for Thai and Vietnamese cooking classes to learn how to add healthy and easy dishes to your cooking repertoire.  Jeannine will show you how to adjust the spice level to suit your taste, learn new cooking techniques, and adjust recipes based on allergies/food preferences for your family and friends to enjoy.  Easy and detailed recipes will be provided for you to recreate the dishes at home.

Thai and Vietnamese Cooking Classes (Tokyo, Minami Azabu) – Jan – Apr 2018

The Best Living Japan Thai and Vietnamese Cooking Classes will be offered for five sessions on Wednesdays from mid-January – April 2018.

1. Sign-up for 3 or all five classes; 3 classes are 24,000 JPY (8,000 JPY per class)  or 5 classes for 35,000 JPY (7,000 JPY per class). We may have space for out-of-town guest who can attend for 9,000 JPY per class (must be confirmed prior to attending). Consumption tax (8%) + PayPal fee added at checkout.

2. Each class usually has 3-4 dishes/recipes.

4. A great opportunity to meet new like-minded friends cooking and enjoy a relaxing meal time at the end of each class.

Menu: Thai Cooking 1 – Hot and sour soup with prawns, spicy minced chicken salad, rice, and fried bananas with ice cream

Menu: Vietnamese Cooking 1 – Fresh spring rolls with hoisin and peanut dipping sauce, grilled lemongrass beef, vegetable platter, and rice

Menu: Thai Cooking 2 – Lemongrass prawns, pork fried rice, and chicken and galangal soup

Menu: Vietnamese Cooking 2 – Roasted lemongrass chicken, green mango salad, morning glory with garlic, and rice

Best Living Japan Course Payment and Cancellation Policy

Cooking class registrations must be received with full payment at the time of registration. We are sorry, but we cannot accept registrations without full payment. 

No refunds are offered on Best Living Japan courses once the course has begun. Students may cancel two weeks before the start of the course and receive a full refund minus payment/transfer funds. If a student can not attend a class, then they may send a replacement (friend or family) in place of themselves.

Refund Exception: If Best Living Japan has to reschedule or cancel a class, we will contact you directly by phone or email to offer a full refund.  Under all circumstances, we will do our best to transfer you to another day or similar class.
