Spring 2017 Tokyo International School Festivals

Over the next three months, there are some great Spring 2017 Tokyo International school festivals to attend. You do not need to have a child at these schools to attend and enjoy global cooking, music and many flea markets and raffles. Attending the Spring 2017 Tokyo International school festivals is also a great way to get to know a school and its community if you are thinking about applying for your child. All of the schools below use the fair proceeds for 3rd party charities as well as for their school projects.  Below is the schedule that will be added to as new information is received. Spring 2017 Tokyo International School Festivals 

1. International School of the Sacred Heart Family Festival (Hiroo, Shibuya)  Saturday, March 18th, 2017 from 10:00 – 14:30 (rain or shine!) – This is the first Spring festival of the season. A great festival which is open to the public. This festival has it all – raffle, international food and drink, activities and music and entertainment.

Spring 2017 Tokyo International School Festivals2. British International School of Tokyo
  (Shibuya, Shibuya-ku) — Saturday, April 1, 2017 
from 11:00 – 15:00  – Japan`s only British International School “The British School in Tokyo,” It is a festival of annual spring. The festival will have international food stalls, live entertainment, games, photo booth, kid`s raffle, Raffle and Cake Stall. The festival is held at the BST Shibuya Campus at 1-21-18, Shibuya, Shibuya-ku; a very easy walk from Shibuya or Harajuku stations.

3. Tokyo International School 20th Annual Cherry Blossom Fair (Minami Azabu, Minato-ku) – Saturday, April 22nd from 11:00 – 15:00 (rain or shine!)  – There will be a raffle with amazing prices, auctions, international food stalls, entertainment, arts & crafts, and game booths, bargain bazaar, and used books sale. Easy to access on the bus from Shinagawa or Shibuya and also a 5 min walk from Shirogane-Takanawadai station. 4. Aoba International School Spring Carnival (Hikarigaoka, Nerima) – Saturday, April 22nd, 2017 from 10:00 – 15:00 (rain or shine!)  – Join Aoba Intl for the 17th annual Spring Carnival! Enjoy a variety of games and activities at different booths, sample food and drink from around the world, and enter to win fabulous prizes! May 13 & 14, 2017 Tokyo Weekend Family Events and Activities5. Nishimachi International School Flea Market (Moto Azabu, Minato-ku)  Saturday, May 13, 2017  9:00 – 16:30. – Nishimachi International School is holding their annual Nishimachi Community Service Flea Market this Saturday, May 13th. If you are looking for home items, kids clothing, toys or books, this is the place to shop. Some great end-of-school-year sale items! All proceeds will benefit the Kirivorn School in Cambodia, Tohoku, and the WWF. There will be entertainment, food, and the Nishimachi students will have a talent show for all to enjoy.

May 13 & 14, 2017 Tokyo Weekend Family Events and Activities6. St. Mary’s International School Carnival (Setagaya-ku) Saturday, May 13, 2017  10:00 – 15:00 – St. Mary`s International School will hold their annual carnival on Saturday, May 13th.  This popular event is one of the largest school festivals in Tokyo.
