** Space Joy CLOSED it`s doors after 7 years of service in MAY 2016 **
Space Joy (スペースジョイ) Jiyugaoka is the perfect place to have a meal while your little ones play. The main floor is a dining cafe (patio dining is available on nice weather days), the 2nd floor is a cafe + kids play area, the 3rd floor is a home-like rental space with a full kitchen, and their basement transformed from an indoor golf spot to a child-friendly play and dining space.
We visited on Friday evening and dined in their spacious, toy-filled basement while the kids played. The space is ideal for walkers to age 6. The popular 2nd floor which has a large tv screen and toys is great for babies to age 6.
Space Joy serves a variety of food; Roast & Rice dishes, Pasta, Pizza, Salads and homemade desserts. Their kids menu offers Udon (400 yen), Curry (500 yen), a Rice Plate (500 yen), Hamburger Set (600 yen), Kids Pizza (600 yen) and includes a drink. They also offer a Brunch menu with eggs benedict (1300 yen), french toast (1200 yen), a fruit waffle (980 yen) and sandwiches (1300 yen) that are available till 17:00.
Their floors are available for rental and include party packages. Rental prices vary depending on the day, time and party package. Please visit their website for details.
