Space Athletic Tondemi opened their second location in Heiwajima, Tokyo. This is following the huge success of Space Athletic in Makuhari Chiba (トンデミ). Space Atheletic is a great indoor activity center to spend 90 mins bouncing, climbing and running. There is also a Tondemi in Mie-ken and one opening in April 2020 in Yokosuka. The Tondemi in Heiwajima is 2X as large as the Makuhari Tondemi, and much closer to central Tokyo. Tondemi Heiwajima has a fun obstacle course to race, a larger little kids area and more climbing walls. For 90 mins your kids can get a great workout in the seven zones which include wall climbing, trampoline, rope climbing, sponge pits, basketball trampoline, video game trampoline and bumper cars. The Space Athletic Tondemi is ideal for kids age 5+ (although there is an exclusive smaller area for little ones under 100cms). Space Athletic Tondemi manages the entrance so that it does not
become overcrowded and only allows admittance to 90 mins. I highly recommend you reserve tickets (only in Japanese) – you can do within one month of visit date (reservations close three days before visit date). You can sometimes by tickets on the day but you will probably have to wait a few hours.
Space Athletic Tondemi, Heiwajima (Tokyo) & Makuhari (Chiba) – Wall Climbing, Rope Walking, Trampolines & More
Space Athletic Tondemi is a big space of about 1,600㎡, of which 600 is trampoline space. You can play dodgeball, jump rope and play games on the trampolines. Each area also is attended to by very helpful and friendly staff who will make sure your child is enjoying themselves safely. The WALLTOPIA area was awesome, and after a few tries, my five-year-old had it mastered. The rope climbing was a bit tricky for a five-year-old, but the staff were very helpful. Definitely, try the trampoline basketball and video game trampoline (all kids should have one of these at home)! Adults can choose to buy an admission to jump and climb or just watch. Either way, you will have a fun time! Tondemi is located right next to the food court so after having your great workout you can enjoy lunch, dinner or a snack
before heading home.
