Sky Circus Virtual Reality Space and Tokyo Skyline View (Ikebukuro, Tokyo)

Located on the 60th floor of Sunshine City sits Sky Circus, a virtual reality space with six cool VR experiences that kids and adults can enjoy. You can also enjoy a panoramic view of the city while playing in  the colorful attractions – many with English instruction. Tully’s Coffee also has a shop within the space so parents can rest a bit and enjoy the view.

If you love VR this is a must visit for 1-2 hours – Sky Circus Virtual Reality Space

The entry fee is to cover the Tokyo city view and the tunnel of light and mirrors which are pretty cool. Sky Circus will keep your kids engaged. Virtual Reality stations are an added fee (400-600 JPY) and for older kids/adults. Note some attractions may change. Kids must be 6 year plus and over 130 cms for most VR experiences, and only the 4D max movies VR experience allowed people over 100 kilos. Sky Circus allows visitors to leave and return the same day, just remember to get your hand stamped on your way out. Visit in the morning then couple with a visit to the Sunshine Aquarium or shop in Sunshine City which houses a number of family friendly restaurants, shops and character goods stores – Disney, Hello Kitty, Pokemon, Snoopy & Rikkuman to name a few.

Remember to visit the Fountain Plaza located in Sunshine City`s Alpa B1 for their video and water show which takes place twice an hour (every half hour) when scheduled. We were mesmerized with the music, video and show. Here is the March 2018 Schedule; 3/19  10:00-23:00; 3/20  10:00-15:00, 3/21  20:30-23:00 and  3/22 10:00-23:00.

P.S. Sunshine City is located next to Tokyu Hands and near Uniqlo (Kids clothes located on the 3rd floor) and Round 1 indoor sports center.

While the Sunshine Building we recommend making a stop at the Sunshine Aquarium which is on the roof – tallest aquarium in the world.
