The Shibuya Scramble Square opened on November 1st, 2019, making it now the tallest building in the Shibuya area. We are really excited about this new addition to Shibuya because it sits right on top of Shibuya station which is super convenient if you want to meet friends or shop without pushing the stroller through the back streets of Shibuya. B2 to the 14th floor are filled with food, fashion, and lifestyle products. There is a  Tsutaya & Starbucks on the 11th floor, Japanese gift stores on the upper floors, a Tokyu Hands satellite store on the 1oth, and great restaurants on 12 & 13th floors.
You can also buy a ticket to the top if the building (Shibuya Sky View) to see a 360-degree view of Tokyo. You must make reservations at this link. A bit pricey but a great view if blue skies. The evaluator light show to the top and down was our kids favorite part. Adults 1,800 – kids 500 yen, kids under 3 are free. Note no strollers are allowed on the roof.

My favorite floors of the Shibuya Scramble Square are B2 & B1 where you can pick up great Japanese and western takeout. Floors 1-9 have all the international and Japanese fashion brands that are popular now.
7-9th floors are Japanese Fashion Brands
10th floor is Tokyo Hands
11th floor Tsutaya book store, Starbucks and Nakagawa (one of my favorite places to buy Japanese gifts)
12 & 13 are eat-in restaurants – you can find all types of restaurants form Okonomiyaki and Sushi to Pasta and Steak (best to make reservations)
14th floor – Entrance to the Shibuya Sky experience, the NHK studio where you an be a bobble head, the Good Design Store and my favorite chopstick store (get your name engraved in 10 mins)
