September 22 – 24, 2018 Tokyo Weekend Family Events and Activities

Here are our recommended September 22, 23 & 24, 2018 Tokyo Weekend Family Events and Activities. A three day weekend is coming up! Monday is Autumn Equinox day (observed), a national holiday in Japan. “The Autumnal Equinox marks the day that the sun crosses over the equator from the Northern to the Southern hemisphere. The sun rises exactly on the east and sets exactly in the west on this day, making day and night equal in length. From this day forward, the days will begin to become shorter than nights in the Northern hemisphere.” Note many Tokyo museums and attractions usually closed on Monday will be open but closed on Tuesday. Venture out and have fun. Laugh, Learn and Live!

Best Living Japan is excited to announce painter Rajul Shah’s “Spirit Me Away” exhibit. Rajul, a Tokyo based artist, will exhibit over 15 of her recent paintings which fabulously capture memories of her global travels. To support women’s education 10% of all paintings will also be contributed to the Asian University for Women (AUW). Please come visit the Best Living Japan studio to view the “Spirit Me Away” between September 22 – October 12, 2018.  Please RSVP below to join an opening reception on September 22 & 23, 2018 (Sat & Sun) between 15:30 -18:30 @ The Best Living Japan Studio in Minami Azabu, Minato-ku, Tokyo. More details –>
