Rocco`s New York Style Pizza is another gem in Japan who offers pizza by the slice or whole pie. Their main shop first opened in Oji in June 2010. They now have new location in Roppongi! Opened just a few months ago they hit all the buttons, great sauce, chewy crust, great selection, English speaking staff and warm neighborhood feel.
Rocco`s New York Style Pizza makes their own dough and sauce in the store, and all their pizzas are hand tossed and cooked in a deck oven. They serve the classic N.Y. Cheese, and pepperoni pizzas, as well as Japanese (shrimp & corn, seafood, etc) and unique varieties; Mexican with homemade chili, japapenos, corn and cheddar cheese; bacon cheeseburger pizza (620 JPY / slice or 4100 for a med pie); vegetarian option also available. They also serve strombolis, calzones, buffalo wings, sides and alcohol. Take a look at their online menu.
Their pizzas are large; 14″ (36 cm) for medium and 18″ (46 cm) for large. You won`t walk away hungry.
