Just in time for the holidays! In this workshop you will design and create your own fabric and paper for custom accessories and gift wrapping. You will also learn how to print a variety of patterns, color, and Japanese textile designs using a rubber stamp carving technique to make a “Tenugui” cloth (Nov. 29 class) and using stenciling methods to create a “Furoshiki” cloth (Dec. 8 class). These textiles are quintessential Japanese gifts that your family and friends will love this holiday season.

Cost of each session is 6,500 yen + 10% tax.

Ages 14+ are welcome. Materials will be provided.

There are four types of classes – you can take one or all four.

1. furoshiki – futohaba size – 68cm x 68cm

2.  tenugui – 35cm x 90cm

3. make your own yardage – 1yard

4. create a book of samples – approx. 21cm x 29cm
