Join the Tokyo Advanced Indigo Dyeing Aizome Class to learn about Japanese Indigo and create your original design on linen. We will use a washi glue resist to create the designs and then dye the fabric in indigo. Students should come to the class with a design in mind to create.

Students must take both the the Intro to Aizome and Intermediate Aizome Classes before taking this Design Making class.

Lauren grows indigo in Chiba and will show you the indigo leaching process and how to use natural and synthetic indigo dyes in this class.
