In the Printing on Fabric class you will learn to enhance a blouse, handkerchief, and more to bring new life to an otherwise plain material. Using a variety of patterns, color, and Japanese textile designs you explore the use of these unusual materials as a printing block! Cost of each session is 6,500 yen + 10% tax. Classes 9/24, 10/8, 10/13, 10/27, 11/13, 12/8, 12/14 and 12/7.
In this workshop, you will learn how to make your own lithographs using such materials as aluminum foil as the plate, olive oil as a drawing medium, and a pasta maker as press. You will create your own postcard-sized single color lithograph print. Class dates are 10/12 & 10/18.
In six session workshop, you will learn the history and fundamentals of moku hanga, and then begin creating your own original print! Seven classes for 49,000 yen + 10% tax (7,000 yen per class ). Classes are Friday 9:00-1:00: October 1, October 15, October 29, November 5, November 19, December 10.
Moku hanga, the Japanese art of woodblock printing, uses water-based inks and carved wooden blocks to create designs that are gently transferred onto paper. Chose two sessions from the available dates.

Make your own stamp book for yourself or children to capture your Japanese memories. Temple worshippers enjoy carrying their goshuincho (御朱印帳) or temple books to collect the Goshuin (御朱印) seal stamps from Shinto shrines and Buddhist temples alike. Classes 10/13, 11/10 and 12/11.
