The Pompompurin Cafe sits in the heart of Harajuku down the street from the Rainbow Sweets Ice cream and Cotton Candy shop. They offer adorable Pompompurin character themed drinks and dishes, and exclusive merchandise. The staff allows entrance a few groups at a time so patrons can select their seats either on cute Pompompurin couches or tables; take pictures with Pompompurin stuffed animals/statues or purchase exclusive Pompompurin merchandise. They offer a variety of mains, desserts and bubble drinks. Mains range from 990 – 1190 JPY and bubble drinks are 550 JPY. The cafe is offering a special birthday menu to celebrate Pom Pom`s April 16th birthday, a hamburger plate with cake (1490 JPY) or cheese pudding (600 JPY).
History: Pompompurin (ポムポムプリン, Pomupomupurin) is a boyish, good-natured Golden Retriever, who was introduced by Sanrio in 1996. Purin was born on April 16th, living in his own basket in the entrance hall of his sister-owner’s house.
