If your child is a Pokemon fan we recommend a quick trip to Landmark Tower in Yokohama. Although the store is a smaller version of the Pokemon Center Mega Tokyo you can still find a number of amazing and seasonal goods including plush dolls and toys, trading cards, accessories, stationary, bento items, snacks and more. Also located next to the Pokemon store is a small Pokemon Union Room with about 8 game stations where kids can battle using their Pokemon digital playing cards.
Visit a Pokemon store on your birthday and receive a birthday card and crown and a 5% discount on total items purchased in the store. Receive your discount coupon at the entrance of store. Show proof of birthdate to receive your birthday coupon. The staff will also wish you a happy birthday while you shop.
Couple your trip with a visit to other family-friendly locations in Yokohama. Located 10 minutes or less by foot from Landmark Tower is the Orbi Indoor Wildlife & Digital World located in the MARK IS Shopping Mall, the Anpanman Museum, the CupNoodles Museum, the Japanese Overseas Migrations Museum, the Red Brick Warehouse, the Yokohama Art Museum and the Mitsubishi Science Museum.
Note Landmark Tower stands at 296 meters and is the tallest building in the Greater Tokyo Area. The building houses a number of popular European and American adult and kids clothing stores like Gap, H&M, Banana Republic, Cath Kidston, etc; family-friendly restaurants as well as the Tomica and Playrail Store.
