If you`re looking for Naples award-winning pizza stop in Pizzeria e Trattoria da ISA (ピッツエリア エ トラットリア ダ イーサ) in Aobadai. This small, Italian styled eatery serves authentic Naples style pizza and delicious Italian food. Opened in February 2010, the owner and pizza chef behind the massive wood-fired oven, and the winner at the World Pizza Cup competition held in Naples, Italy for three consecutive years, works diligently to create his award-winning pizzas.
Pizzeria e Trattoria da ISA is a small, no-frills family friendly restaurant with certificates, articles, photos with celebrities and trophies adorning the walls. This small eatery is especially popular in nice weather with sidewalk seating and is consistently busy with a long line out its door. Reservations for large groups are recommended.
We ordered off their lunch set which provides 12 pizzas ranging from 1000 yen – 2000 yen a pie. The Margherita (1000 yen) and Margherita Al Prosciutto (1700 yen) were served piping hot – the dough both soft and crispy with just the perfect amount of cheese and sauce. We highly recommend you order one pizza then order the next pizza as the first arrives to savor the piping hot, soft crispy dough.
P.S. A fun outing would be to visit Nakameguro Park, grab lunch at Pizzeria e Trattoria da ISA, take a stroll down Meguro River and visit some of their unique shops then head up to Daikanyama to visit one of our recommended spots in our archives (e.g. Kyu Asakura House, Daikanyama T-Site, etc.)
