The event lasts for two days (Saturday and Sunday), and the festival area is all along Aoyama Dori between Aoyama 1-chome area to Aoyama University (past Omotesando station on your way to Shibuya). Enjoy the parade on Saturday from 13:45 along Aoyama Dori on Saturday a.m. and also the many locations for food and beverages. The ginkgo trees in Aoyama are just changing colors so a great time to visit the neighborhood. Some of my favorite photos came from this festival last year.

7. The Earth Garden Craft Fair (Yoyogi Park) – takes place four times a year. Great crafts, food and fun activities for kids.  The earthy folk of Tokyo converge on Yoyogi Park to enjoy discovering eco products, organic foods and music. There are over 200 booths that will be displaying products and services to this eco and crafty group. Very fun, and impossible to walk way empty-handed. There is also a very good music line-up and a hammock area to relax in-between your eating and shopping. Kids will defiantly enjoy 1-2 hours wandering the stalls with parents. Also, if you visit at night, the candle-lit stalls are very pretty to view. Also combing with a leisurely walk through Meiji Jingu Park would make a nice 2-3 hour outing.

8. Hibiya Gardening Show 2017 (Hibiya, Tokyo) –  This is the last weekend to see beautiful displays of cosmos, roses and chrysanthemums. Approximately 180 gardeners present their artwork in this annual show. We love wandering the gardens discovering new plants and creative displays. Hibiya Park was the first western garden in Japan, so it is also a great place to visit and wander. There is an old playground that still can amuse little ones for a short break.
