Nakaoe Park Playground, Osaka

Nakaoe Park (中大江公園) is a large 100 square meter space divided into four large multi-purpose areas; an area for toddlers, a playground, an open space, and green space with beautiful cherry trees in Spring. We were staying at the Hotel MyStays Otemae and stumbled upon this park after an early morning wake up from Little A.

Nakaoe playground park is equip with two set of swings with two swings each, a large climbing mountain with chains, rock molds and bars to help active ones climb up and a smooth concave slide to get down, playground equipment, and exercise bars. The toddler space is equip with a large enclosed sand box, spring riders, two swings, small slide and shaded seating area. The open space holds shrubbery and grass and a variety of trees. There is also a leafy covered seating area to escape the hot sun during summer months. Nakaoe park is a perfect spot to walk your pets, take a morning jog and let your kids run free.

It`s a great park to visit after an early morning wake-up. Grab lunch at one of the many restaurants in the area then, head to Osaka Castle, a short 12 minute cab ride.
