Mikyou Yamanashi – Wine Beef

Mikyou Yamanashi Wine Beef is highly rated beef in Yamanashi. It comes from cattle fed Yamanashi Grape Pomace. Pomace is the solid remains of grapes, olives, or other fruit after pressing it for juice or oil. It contains the skins, pulp, seeds, and stems of the fruit. The meat is deliciously tender and tasty. Our kids` favorite are the meat patties.

Mikyou has three locations in Yamanashi. The Kai Shimakamijō location serves 10 packs of 10 meat patties per day on a first come first served basis, limit one pack per family. The staff will bring out 10 numbered cards 10 minutes before store opening and will leave at the front door. Select your number and wait. There is a small farmers market located next door where you can shop for veggies while you wait. When Mikyou opens at 10am you may purchase your meat patties and various types of meat excellent for bbq-ing. Order at the store or via phone (Japanese language only). Details below.
