Midorie Organic Restaurant & Deli, Gakugeidaigaku

Enjoy an organic meal at the cozy Midorie Organic Restaurant & Deli. Open since 2001 Midorie serves organic produce and seasonal seafood procured directly from farmers and fishermen in Japan. This baby-friendly and non-smoking restaurant is located a short walk from Gakugeidaigaku station and has 6 wooden tables and chairs, semi private room with bench seating in back. Baby loved looking at the broken sea shells engrained in the floors. They recently released their new menu which includes a number of seasonal deli items and desserts, Kamiyama Keema Chicken Curry (antibiotic free and free-range chicken), organic Egg bowl with 8 pesticide free vegetables, and their popular lunch sets with your selection of a number of deli items from their showcase and miso soup. They also give you a choice of four different types of rice; brown, white, black or a combo of all three. Lunch sets from 1100-2000 JPY.

Dine in or take out and enjoy at Himonya Park Petting Zoo with Pony Rides (8 min walk from Midorie). We also recommend picking up some Adorable Floresta Nature (Organic) Donuts nearby for breakfast, taking a stroll at Bamboo Grove (Suzume-no Oyado Ryokuchi Park) or pick up some groceries and affordable goods at Aeon Style Mall (5 min walk from Himonya Park).
