Kichiri Ebisu is a stylish, baby & kid-friendly restaurant with a large playroom – also doubles as a great dining and terrace BBQ spot. The atmosphere is zen-like with floor level tables and sunken seating for your legs. They offer great lunch sets and easy kids` meals during the day and Japanese fusion with cocktails or BBQ at night. We visited on a weekday and were surprised with the number of new mothers dining with their infants.
As we stepped off the 6th-floor elevators we were amazed at the number of strollers parked at the entrance. We took off our shoes, placed them in a locker and were led to our table. Their adult lunch menu offers a variety of pasta or meat sets which range from 1700 – 2100 yen. The sets include soup, fresh vegetables w/heated miso dip, and drink bar with your choice of orange juice, jasmine tea or coffee. Kids` plate comes with pizza or udon noodles, soup, fries, and drink bar (900 / 700 yen).
The playroom is amazing. It`s spacious with cushioned floors, ball pit and large cushions to climb on or build. Little O was swimming in the ball pit when our server came in to tell us our food was ready.
Nursing room and diaper changing table available. Note the playroom is open from 11:00-14:30. Food and drink are not allowed in the playroom, and guardians must accompany the child at all times. Our new favorite spot to lunch with kids in inclement weather. Reservations recommended.
