Keeping your baby cool in Tokyo Summer

Trying to find ways to keep yourself and your baby cool while commuting this summer in Tokyo? Go to your local Loft or Tokyu hands and look for neck towels (towels that contain cool gel packs), neck fans, wet towels, cool foam, etc., to help you beat the heat.  To keep your baby cool, look for Cool Gel Packs with cushions for your stroller. Place the blue gel pack in the freezer for a few hours then take it out and place them in the cushion provided. Then, tie it onto your stroller when you`re ready to leave. It will keep your infant/toddler cool for a couple hours during that short commute or stroll. The cushion never gets too cold and your infant/toddler will love it.

  1. Hi! I’m planning a trip to Tokyo this Sept with my husband. We’ll be traveling with our 8month old and a 3 year old. Do you have any advice on commuting with strollers in Japan? I’m considering a tandem stroller but not sure if it will be too bulky for the crowded spaces in the city. I heard that we should be prepared for a lot of walking so I’m not sure what’s the best way to get around with 2 little ones. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks!
