Katre Bistro is a must try if visiting Guam. Located in the heart of Hagatna, Guam this unassuming bistro serves delicious mediterranean cuisine with asian flare that is beautifully presented. Chef and owner Roxs Cailao is a veteran chef who has served as the executive chef at the Sheraton and Renaissance Hotels and is certified at the ACF (American Culinary Federation). He brings his international culinary experience to his casual and friendly 40 seat bistro to serve dishes that is bursting with flavor and is pleasing to all palates.
Our party ordered the Ox tail soup (15.50) and Braised Pork Belly (13) – both dishes had a delicious combination of textures and flavours. Our friends ordered the seafood paella (25) and tuna (18) and were impressed with the freshness and taste – all gratifying. Everything from the appetizers to desserts were delicious. A tasty fusion bistro experience.
Katre Bistro is a 3 minute walk from Chamorro Village, popular for shopping, souvenirs and their Wednesday night market and a short 10 minute drive to the family-friendly Onward Beach Resort Waterpark.
