Mini hot patches are great 
if you or your kids are outside a lot in the winter. Individually wrapped you just peel, and they heat up! These heat patches fit nicely in mittens, in the bottom of boots or into pockets to keep your hands warm. We keep a box right in our entrance way so the kids can grab as they head out! Portable warmth!

Always carry hand cream. Our current favorite is Pax Naturon Hand Cream which is currently the number one bestselling hand cream on Amazon Japan. Tissue Paper with Water lotion infused – Parents are never be short of travel tissue, and plastic bags to hold used ones. This is not the normal type of paper which is harsh on runny noses it has special water lotion what makes it really soft. It is not wet tissue but instead infused with water like lotion which is dry to the touch but ultra soft.

Kirei Kirei Wet Tissue. Parents sterilize their kids` hands with these great travel wipes. They can be found at any pharmacy or convenience store. Pink packaging is Non-Alcohol type, and Green packaging contains Alcohol.

Lips are susceptible to dryness so be sure to carry some lip balm around with you. Mums have their favorite but many carry the Mentholatum brand. It goes on smooth and keeps the moisture locked in. Pick up at any drug store or on Amazon Japan.

Happytan senbei (ハッピーターン)– Are great travel snacks. They are individually wrapped rice crackers for all ages and easy to consume. Kids love the sweet and salty taste of the magic powder. Can be found at Japanese supermarkets or Amazon Pantry.
