Hotel MYSTAYS Shin-Osaka Conference Center – Recommended Family-Friendly Hotel

The Hotel MYSTAYS Shin-Osaka Conference Center (ホテルマイステイズ新大阪コンファレンスセンター) is a great, affordable family-friendly place to stay. Located 5 minutes from Shin Osaka Station, and surrounded by convenient stores and local amenities, the hotel is convenient if arriving in Osaka from Tokyo, Kyoto, and surrounding cities.

My son and I spent a full day in Kyoto and arrived late evening at the Hotel MYSTAYS Shin-Osaka Conference Center. To my relief the hotel was easy to locate from Shin Osaka Station. Hotel MYSTAYS Shin-Osaka employs helpful and knowledgeable staff and offers the same amenities similar to the Kyoto MYSTAYS Shijo; free wifi, laundry corner, vending machines, room air purifiers and maps in different languages. The hotel staff provided us with an English map of the restaurants in the area categorized by food type and cuisine. Very helpful if traveling with kids.

We stayed in a Hotel MYSTAYS Shin-Osaka Conference Center Standard Twin. The room was clean, comfortable and well equipped with refrigerator, air purifier, kettle, nightwear and bathroom amenities. The bathroom was clean, but tight for the average westerner.

Too tired to venture out we dined at Rivage (リバージュ) , a Steak and Hamburg restaurant located at the entrance of the hotel which offers a good selection of mains, salad buffet and kids menu. A great spot for hungry kids.
