Guzman Y Gomez beef-pork burritoIf you`re looking for a quick and tasty Mexican fix head out to Guzman y Gomez in Harajuku. Located on the 2nd floor of La Foret this Australia-born eatery serves meaty burritos, tacos, tortillas and quesadillas with authentic spices from Mexico. Vegetarian options and a kids menu is also available.

Guzman Y Gomez spicesWe ordered two burritos which came with rice, jack cheese, black beens, salsa and an option to add extra fillings (extra charge) rolled in a soft flour tortilla (Large 1320 yen, Regular 820 yen), and nachos (Large 1320 yen, Regular 820 yen). The fillings were generous and the spice authentic. If you`re looking to add more spice to your meal they offer a selection of fresh ingredients and sauces at no extra charge next to the register; Roasted Jalapeño (mild), Hot Smokey Chipotle (Hot) and Habanero Sauce (extra hot); fresh Coriander, Red Onion and Jalapeños in the bin.

Guzman Y Gomez viewThey also serve Mexican Imported beers (500 yen +) and Tequila (300 yen +), Margaritas (800 yen) and Churros (450 yen). A great spot to take a quick bite or have a leisurely lunch while people gazing. There`s a covered Foosball table in the back of the restaurant for those who want to have a little fun post lunch.
