Gelateria Acquolina (ジェラテリア アクオリーナ) is another spot to add to our Favorite Top 5+ Ice Treats in Japan. It`s is a cozy shop in Yutenji that creates delicious homemade gelato with flavors that change with the season. The classics are there but they also have unique flavors like our favorite: basil & lemon. If you buy in the store, you can mix two or three flavors in a cup or cone. Kids love their light and refreshing melon and grapefruit combo. Patrons love their rich and nutty pistachio which goes well with a chocolate combo.
Gelateria Acquolina offers 2 flavor cup combinations for 580 yen and 3 flavors for 630 yen; a cone is an extra 40 yen. They also offer bambinis, 2 flavor combos for kids up to age 10yrs, for 350 yen. Check their website for gelato set delivery (Japanese language). This seasons special is a caramel gelato soft serve for 600 yen. Stop in and let us know what you think!
