The Japanese high quality baby and children`s clothing and goods store, Familiar (ファミリア) has partnered with the popular baby-friendly cafe, Chano-mama at their Main store in Ginza (ファミリア 銀座). Open till July 28, Familiar Ginza will host a baby-friendly cafe and a number of
mother and baby-friendly classes (by reservation only).
Enjoy a healthy and relaxing lunch with your baby on their white cushioned space with soft, white pillows – a perfect lunch spot for new moms and their infants. Then head to the second floor post lunch to browse their vast selection of high-quality baby and kids clothing and goods.
Their lunch menu, available from 11:00-15:00, serves a balanced meal for mothers with infants; Tomato Cream Soup or Clam Chowder with bread, vegetables and a salad for 1200 yen. Freshly cooked Baby food is also offered by age group; 7 months, 9 months or 12 months for 800 yen. They also offer green tea, lemon, organic carrot juices and three types of ice creams (strawberry, green tea and milk) for an additional 500 yen.
Mother and baby-friendly classes still available are making your babies first leather shoes (8640 yen), create your babies` first album (1080 yen), and create and frame art from your babies` hands and feet (5000 yen). Please call to reserve and for details.
If you can`t make it to Ginza, Chano-ma has another popular baby-friendly cafe space in Daikanyama, Chano-ma Cafe. This location is only a few minutes walk from the Familiar Daikanyama store scheduled to reopen with a new showroom and mother and baby workshops on June 25, 2016.
