1. The Jingugaien Icho Festival (Aoyama, Minato-ku, Tokyo)  – As mentioned in the eight best locations for autumn foliage article Icho Namiki (Ginko Avenue in Aoyama) is a magnificent location for viewing the brilliant yellow colors. At the end the main road there is an Icho Festival that will finish running this weekend. Over 40 food, beverage and lifestyle stores will participate serving all types of Autumn matsuri (festival) delicacies. While you`re there visit Niko Niko Park and stop in Shake Shack for all-natural 100% hormone-free Angus Beef Burgers.

2. Swedish Christmas Bazaar Sunday, December 2nd

Come and join us for our annual Swedish Christmas Bazaar at the Swedish Embassy in Roppongi on Sunday, December 2 between 12:00 – 16:00!
Enjoy Swedish traditional food, drinks, and handicrafts! You can try glögg (mulled wine) our favourite Swedish Christmas drink , eat traditional safron buns and enjoy Swedish folk music. To get you in the Christmas spirit there’s also a special performance by Lucia and her procession who will sing traditional Swedish Christmas songs.

Please Note: For the safety and enjoyment of all, there will be a limited number of people who can reside at the Embassy area at the same time. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.

3. Raw Tokyo at The Farmers Market at the UN University (Omotesando) – Shop for Vintage Clothing, Reused Fashion, Old Tee Shirts, Vintage Shoes, Old Bags, Craft Coffee as well as mikan, yuzu, daikon, renkon, strawberries and other bounty in season.

Japanese Nabe Festival , November 25 & 26, 2017 Tokyo Weekend Family Events and Activities4. Japanese Nabe Festival (Hibiya Park, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) – Enjoy The 5th “Gotochi Nabe” Festival @ Hibiya Park. Nabe (Japanese hot pot) is a staple in our family from November – February. If you have not figured out what your favorite nabe is then this event is a great chance to try nabe recipes from all over Japan. The “Hibiya Winter Sake Festival” will be held at the same time, where you can enjoy visiting 35 sake breweries nationwide. Warm up with Sake and Nabe this weekend!

5. Roppongi Hills Christmas Market– If you would like to get in the spirit with some friends by having a beer and some sausage than this is the market for you. I would not recommend for kids because it is very crowded and hard to see anything. However, if you are out and about, adults only, it will increase your spirit!  Lots of beautiful but expensive Christmas ornaments, and outside seating with heaters. Enjoy!

6. Yebisu Garden Place Marche de Noël Festival (Ebisu)
Enjoy the European-style Christmas market under the thousands of Garden Place LED Illuminations and famous Baccarat chandelier. A great spot to pick up last minute Holiday decorations and gifts and enjoy the array of continental cuisine.
