If you are looking for a healthy and child-friendly lunch spot with great outdoor seating than try Daylight Kitchen in Shibuya! It checks all those boxes. Daylight Kitchens tagline is Everyday Natural Food. The food was delicious, and the staff was able to explain in detail about the interesting and natural ingredients and their health benefits.

There are a few set menus offered at lunch time. All set menus start with an appetiser which in our case was a delicious shot of tomato juice, a whole grain cracker with a soybean spread. Very unique! Our main was ginger pork with a variety of season vegetable side dishes. They try to source as much of the produce organically and use in season produce. All set menus include a drink, rice, salad and soup.

The indoor and outdoor space is spacious and very nicely decorated in a natural yet chic environment. There are mini chairs for smaller kids, and a section to toys and books to keep little ones busy. I was with a friend who had a baby, so we chose sitting at a sofa that was very relaxing.

Daylight Kitchen also has a delicious looking dessert counter and bread bakery that you can order takeout. Daylight Kitchen is very conveniently located near Shibuya station, yet it does not feel busy. Enjoy!
