Where to Find a Christmas Tree in Japan?

Less than one month to go until Christmas. I know many, including my family, will be decorating for Christmas this weekend. Many people have asked me recently about where to find a Christmas tree in Japan. First, you need to determine if you want a real tree or an artificial tree. There are pros and cons to both! Real trees smell amazing but can be difficult or costly to dispose of after the holiday

Where to find a Christmas Tree in Japan?


1. National AWhere to find a Christmas Tree in Japan?zabu Supermarket in Hiroo just received their annual shipment of Christmas trees. Looks like a great selection of very fresh trees from a few feet to over six feet big ones! Most range in price from 15,000-35,000.  National Azabu can also ship to any locations in Japan.  Store info: 4-5-2 Minami Azabu,Minato-Ku, Tokyo, phone 03-3442-3181


Where to find a Christmas Tree in Japan?2. Nissin Supermarket in Azabu started selling trees about a week ago. They have a very wide range of sizes and prices. According to their signage a tree 5-6 ft (1 is 18,200 yen, 6-7 ft is 21,000 yen and 7-8 ft is 29,500 yen. The prices seem a bit less expensive than National Azabu, but the quality may differ. 3. Local home & garden centres and local florists also offer 1-3 ft Japanese trees that can pass as small Christmas trees for the dining or kitchen table. This is always a great option if you are single, or might not be in town for actual Christmas and just want a bit of seasonal touch for the next few weeks. Most home centres such as D2 and large florist, such as,  Aoyama Florist have a nice selection.

2. Costco Japan has a good selection of artificial trees at each store.

3. Large home centres such as Jusco, Cains, D2 and others all offer artificial trees.
