Zoos and Aquariums in tokyo
If your child enjoys animals and fish, consider visiting one of the many Japan Zoos and Aquariums. Most of these zoos and aquariums are located in the Tokyo area which make great half or full-day trips. We know that Japan is a bit behind some countries in the care of contained animals and fish, but over the past 15 years, we have seen significant advancement in the facilities and staffing of facilities. It is a personal choice if you choose to visit a live animal zoo or aquarium and can be a great educational experience. Have fun.

If you prefer to not go to a live animal or fish space, we do recommend the National Museum of Science and Nature (Ueno) or Orbi Indoor Wildlife & Digital World (Yokohama).
