Tokyo with kids pools and waterplay

Lucky for us there are some amazing outdoor public pools and waterplay areas open to the public for a few hundred yen between July and September.  I highly recommend you visit one to have fun, cool off and people watch! Japanese splash parks are also a fun activity – little river and ponds that also open in the summer for little kids to romp around. Please note some splash ponds and pools allow swim diaper sand some do not – we have noted the best to our ability the rules of each location. Most of the 23 wards of Tokyo also have local indoor pools which offer a variety of classes for adults – check with your local ward office.
