Cuban food is hard to come by in Tokyo – welcome Cafe Habana Tokyo. This New York-born Cuban eatery has a shop down the street from the NY Style Pizza shop chain that sells pizza by the Slice – Pizza Slice. Stop in for their crunchy on the outside soft on the inside Cuban sandwiches and Mexican style grilled corn served with mayonnaise cotija cheese chili powder and lime. They have great lunch sets and kids menu. Entrees range from 1200-1600 JPY a dish and they have Kids plates for 750 JPY; Lunch plates range from 900 -1500 JPY plus a drink.
Cafe Habana has a brilliant, royal blue facade and bright and colorful interior with murals and lively cuban music. Hard to miss.
