** Cafe Annteana underwent renovations in early Spring 2016 and is now a pancake cafe without a play space **
Cafe Annteana(カフェ・アンティーナ) in Daikanyama is another favorite baby and kid-friendly dining spot to escape the cold and rain. The interior is a delightful mix of elegant, vintage, shabby chic with whitewashed walls, plush sofas, mismatched chairs, chandeliers and elegant tableware. Their play space is equip with cushioned seating for babies, a padded play area with toys, books and tv, two chalkboard walls for drawing, and a rock climbing wall for older children. Nursing mothers will be delighted using their private nursing room, and stylish bathroom and diaper changing area.
We ordered their special lunch set which comes with your choice of one main (pizza, jar salad or curry), potato and edamame salad, pumpkin soup, vegetable and shrimp marinade and strawberry panacotta dessert (1800 yen); their Keema Curry (1080 yen) and their dessert pizza to top us off (980 yen). The pizzas had a fantastic mochi-like crust and the curry tastefully sweet.
Cafe Annteana rents out their space for parties and special occasions from 17:00 for 2-2.5 hours. They will personalize a menu of unlimited pizza, unlimited drinks plus an appetizer for your party. Adults 4000~5000 yen (depending on the day); Kids aged 3 years and up 1000 yen, 2 years and under are free.
