Bubby’s is a delight if you’re searching for an American-style breakfast or brunch. With a variety of eggs, pancakes, burgers, and sandwiches you are sure to find something to satisfy everyone. The indoor seating is nice and spacious, but we enjoyed sitting outside in the courtyard that’s large enough to enjoy distance from other diners. If you have kids, it’s a good opportunity to let them play while you enjoy your coffee. If not, it’s still great for people watching!
The restaurant has six locations in the Tokyo area, which serve meals all day including specialty drinks and their well-known pies. Their opening hours vary slightly across each location, but they are open all day, even after the lunch rush. For people staying at or around the ANA Hotel, this is a great alternative to a hotel breakfast. Visit their website below to see exact menus for each location and enjoy!
We ordered the Griddle Special (¥1,600 tax incl) and the Blueberry Pancakes (¥990 tax incl) and were quite satisfied. The special included your choice of eggs, a few classic American breakfast meats, as well as a pancake, delicious home fries, and a healthy inclusion of fruit. The fluffy pancakes were nicely drenched in a blueberry-orange sauce and nicely topped with blueberries. We also grabbed some iced coffee with oat milk, which hit the spot! Overall, we’d give Bubby’s a high rating for the nice portions and touch of nostalgia. Will we come again? Absolutely.
