Blu Jam Cafe

Blu Jam Cafe (Daikanyama, Tokyo) – Vegan and Gluten free Brunch All Day

Blu Jam Cafe Tokyo*** CLOSED JULY 2020 ***

We love brunch so when we heard about one of the hottest brunch spots in Los Angeles opening in Tokyo we had to check it out. Hidden a 1-min walk from Daikanyama Station sits the cozy and spacious Blu Jam Cafe. Blu Jam Cafe serves a tasty selection of European-infused Vegan, Gluten-Free and Vegetable dishes that are Instagram worthy with brunch served all-day.

After walking two flights of stairs to the B2 level we were welcomed to a warm and spacious, rustic interior with exposed red bricks, high ceilings and modern art adorning the walls. The mood casual with great music and lighting. The staff kind and helpful.

Blu Jam Cafe Tokyo French ToastWe ordered the Blu Jam Signature Cornflake crusted French Toast with Vanilla Bean Sauce (4 Piece Half Portion 1270 yen) and the Benedict which came with Salmon, sautéed Spinach, grilled Tomato and Dill Hollandaise sauce and your choice of a side salad or potatoes (1550 yen). The Japanese have many wonderful cafes. But I have to say that Blu Jam Cafe sounds like a fantastic cafe for me to take my good lady to, as she is vegan with very specific dietary requirements. I am not a vegan and have seen some excellent pics on Trip Advisor that have me salivating.

I like the location, the food and the appearance of the cafe. Well done.
