Niseko Breakfast & Coffee Spots – Early Morning Breakfast Options
- Ginger – Offers a great intentional buffet breakfast which offers western, Japanese and Chinese options. Family-friendly seating with chair and bench seating. Ginger is located
on the first floor of the Aya Hotel which is a very high-end ski-in/ski-out condo and hotel. Also, GoSnow ski school is located next door which makes this an ideal location if you have a 9:30 ski school option.
2. Green Farm Cafe – A great casual a la carte option for families. Breakfast plates including eggs, pancakes, and BLTs run about 1,000 yen. They also offer a selection of breakfast muffins and pastries. This place gets busy very early so if you want to sit and eat quickly go first thing. Breakfast from 7:00 -10:30.

The Vale (located on the 1st floor of The Vale Niseko hotel) offers a set-menu breakfast from 7:00. Adult meals are 2,000 yen and include options such as pancakes, Japanese breakfast, eggs benedict and muesli/fruit plate. Kids can have a set meal for 1,000 yen. Beverages are billed separately. A convenient location at the base of the family lift.
4. Koko – Located on the 2nd floor of a central building this hipster cafe offers coffee, matcha latte, and a great hot chocolate. It is also my favorite bread in Niseko. They have freshly baked croissants, scones, and danishes. Our family favorites are the spinach and feta wrap and the chocolate croissant. You can also buy baguettes and loafs of bread.

5. Fresh Niseko – Fresh Niseko is a little coffee hut located near the base of the Ace Family Lift/Vale & Aya Hotels. You can pick up a great cup of coffee or lat3 from 7:00. They also sell a good selection of baked goods (great blueberry muffins) and have some savory wraps and sandwiches. Expect to spend 400-600 for a beverage and 400 – 800 yen for takeaway food items.
6. Rhythm Japan Niseko – Rhytym ski rentals is our family preferred rental location due to the selection and price of rentals but also the in-house cafe. The in-house coffee counter makes the entire rental process a little more relaxing, especially if you are juggling multiple kids. The owner also has a little pup “Palo” who wanders around the rental space.

7. Musu Niseko
A wonderful restaurant for any time of the day or night, but we LOVE their breakfast of Eggs Benedict and Classic Eggs and Bacon. They also have various vegan options with fruit salad, Chai seed jellies and croissants. A great place to enjoy a filling breakfast before you hit the slopes. You can see the menu here.
8. SeicoMart – If you have a kitchen in your accommodations, I recommend stocking up on breakfast items at Seico Mart. You can buy eggs, bread, sausages, yogurt, cereals and juices at the largest and most centrally located convenience store in Hirafu, Niseko. It costs about 2,000 yen in food to feed our family of six breakfast each morning – cheapest option in Niseko! google map
