We stumbled across this beautiful bamboo grove after shopping at the reasonably-priced Aeon Style Mall in Gakugeidaigaku. Suzume-no Oyado Ryokuchi Park (雀の御宿公園) is a green park with a grove of tall bamboo that were planted about 200 years ago. It`s a small park but a nice escape from the bustle of the city. Take a stroll and enjoy the soft breeze flowing through the bamboo grove, enjoy the open space where kids can play a friendly game of soccer, and search for a variety of insect species.
