The Asian University for Women 7th Annual Fundraising Event, March 22, Tuesday – The Asian University for Women & Friends of AUW Japan are please to invite you and your guests to our Seventh Annual Fundraising Evening with Professor Sheena Iyengar, Professor of Columbia Business School, and best-selling author of “The Art of Choosing” and two fabulous AUW alumnae from Bangladesh and Vietnam. All proceeds go directly to scholarships at the Asian University for Women. Door open at 6:00. Best to Buy tickets here asap, but if you forget you can pay at the door.

Asian University for Women 7th DRAFT2-186-x-112Annual Fundraising Event 
Founded in 2008, the Asian University for Women (AUW) is an independent, international university in Chittagong, Bangladesh seeking to educate a new generation of leaders in Asia. AUW admits students solely on the basis of merit, regardless of their family’s income level, and nearly all students are on full scholarship with many as the first in their family to attend university. AUW offers a one-year, pre-collegiate bridge program called the Access Academy, as well as a three-year undergraduate program based in the liberal arts and sciences. The University is committed to graduating generations of women leaders who will tackle their countries’ social, economic, and political issues while collaborating across cultural, ethnic, and religious lines. We have approximately 500 students enrolled from 15 countries in Asia and the Middle East.

AUW Fundraising Event Details
Event Date: Tuesday, March 22nd
Event Time: Doors open at 18:00 | Event starts promptly at 18:30
Event Location: Sogetsu Kaikan, 7-2-21 Akasaka, Minato-ku, Tokyo
Registration fee ¥10,000 per person | ¥3,000 per student  – A light supper is included in the registration. .
Raffle tickets for fantastic prizes will be sold during the evening.
